Kylar Ivanenko

Doctor Kylar Ivanenko, Resistance fighter and scientist.

Doctor Kylar Ivanenko was born in 1970, and excelled at science from an early age. Ivanenko was a graduate of MIT, where he studied under the famous Doctor Kleiner. Ivanenko earned a PhD. in Theoretical Physics, and earned much praise for his thesis, Observations of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entanglement on Supraquantum Structures Via Resonance, and got him a job at the University of Innsbruck's renowned Entanglement Laboratory in Austria.

A few years later, his former Professor, Isaac Kleiner, contacted him with a job offer at the infamous government owned Black Mesa Research Facility, where Kleiner and a team of top physicists were working on quantum entanglement and teleportation. Ivanenko could hardly refuse the tantalizing offer, and within a year was at work at the Anomalous Materials Lab at Black Mesa.

One day, they received a mysterious sample from an anonymous source. Kylar was in the test chamber that day, and put the sample in a testing apparatus. When charged, the sample created an interdimensional rift that Kylar was sucked into. Yet instead of death, he met a stranger, who saved his life, but placed him in stasis until he was 'needed.' No one knows of Ivanenko's fate and his colleagues presumed to he was killed in the rift.
